Where to Find Us

When we're not out making a difference in the brain injury community, Life After Brain Injury is in its Simi Valley office at 1918 Los Angeles Avenue, on the southeast corner of LA Avenue and Erringer Road.

The building is located behind the three-story Regional Center building, around the corner from Smart & Final, and kitty-corner across the lot from Simi Surgery Center.

Important note
: We are renting space from the RR Gable Realty Company, at 1918 LA Avenue. We do NOT have signage on their building; you have to come inside and ask for us. (Don't worry, the folks who work at RR Gable are super nice and friendly.)

Be sure to call and make an advance appointment -- we're usually out and about, instead of sitting behind a desk!

Here are just a few
of the faces of brain injury:

Every 23 seconds, a person sustains a traumatic brain injury.

Every 40 seconds, someone has a stroke.

Over 4% of the general population -- some 33,000 people
in Ventura County alone -- lives with a brain injury.

Whether caused by a car accident, stroke, aneurysm,
or terrorist attack in Iraq, brain injury changes everything –
who you are, what you do, how you live.

Many survivors find they can’t keep their lives on track without
occasional or ongoing assistance. Life After Brain Injury
is here for them and for their family caregivers as well, who are often as impacted as survivors themselves.

We believe everyone deserves, and has the civil right, to have their basic needs met and the opportunity to pursue a rich, meaningful and productive life.

That's why Life After Brain Injury exists
: to support people with brain injury in their efforts to improve the quality of their lives.
